Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Shadower application and website ("Service"). By installing or using Shadower, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Shadower is a desktop application that monitors Polymarket trader wallets on the Polygon blockchain and automatically replicates their trades to your Polymarket account. The Service is provided "as is" and is intended for informational and automation purposes only.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Shadower
• You must be legally permitted to use prediction markets and trading tools in your jurisdiction
• By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements

3. Not Financial Advice

Nothing in the Service or on shadower.trade constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions. We strongly recommend:

• Starting with a small balance in DRY-RUN (simulation) mode before trading real funds
• Only investing funds you can afford to lose
• Researching any trader before copying them
• Understanding that prediction markets are inherently speculative

4. Account and Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• One account may be active on one device at a time
• You must not share your account with others
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• Your Polymarket private key is stored only on your device. We have no access to it and cannot recover it if lost.
• You are solely responsible for the security of your private key and any funds in your wallet

5. Subscription and Payment

Free Trial: New accounts receive a 24-hour free trial with a limit of 10 copied trades. The trial ends when either the time expires or the copy limit is reached, whichever comes first. No payment information is required for the trial.

Paid Plans:

• Monthly plan: $19.99 per month
• Yearly plan: $189.99 per year
• Prices are in USD and may change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers

Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the in-app subscription management. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.

Refunds: We offer refunds within 48 hours of the initial purchase if the Service did not function as described. Contact support@shadower.trade. Renewals are non-refundable. Refunds are processed at our discretion.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of Polymarket's Terms of Service
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the Shadower application
• Share, resell, or sublicense your Shadower account or subscription
• Use automated tools to create multiple accounts or abuse the free trial
• Attempt to circumvent any account restrictions or subscription checks

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any trading losses, missed trades, or financial damages arising from use of the Service
• We are not liable for losses caused by blockchain delays, Polymarket downtime, Alchemy outages, or internet connectivity issues
• We are not liable for losses caused by the traders you choose to copy
• Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep Shadower available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues. We are not liable for any losses caused by Service downtime.

9. Updates and Changes

• We may update the Shadower application from time to time. Some updates may be required to continue using the Service.
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features of the Service with reasonable notice.
• We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent activity (e.g. chargebacks, trial abuse)
• Use the Service in a way that harms other users or third parties

Upon termination, your subscription ends immediately with no refund for unused time.

11. Third-Party Services

Shadower integrates with Polymarket, Alchemy, Supabase, LemonSqueezy, and NOWPayments. We are not affiliated with these services and are not responsible for their availability, terms, or actions. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms.

12. Intellectual Property

Shadower, its logo, and all associated software are owned by us. You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the application for personal trading purposes. You may not redistribute, resell, or create derivative works from the software.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with generally accepted principles of international commercial law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation; if unresolved, through binding arbitration.
